Orchids has always tried to inculcate reading habits among
the students. The school therefore had a USSR week from 23/9/13 to 28/9/2013.
All the students of I-X classes avidly read books during the specific time allotted
for reading.
To motivate and encourage students to read more and to
improve their thinking and writing skills, the school also organized a book
fair. The three-day-exhibition by Scholastic Inc., gave the students an opportunity
to browse through titles and select books which were purchased on the day of Parent-
Teacher meeting on 28/9/13.
