Farewell Party (28/3/2012)

As per the school tradition, the students of Class IX of Orchids–The International School hosted a farewell party for the outgoing students of Class X. It was aptly titled ‘Fusion’. The dress code was traditional for girls and formal for boys. All of them participated in a ramp show and also shared their feelings about their times at school and what they would miss most, now that they would be embarking onto another stage of education.
They were later given awards on the basis of their nominations in various categories. Two students, Puravi Gundala and Kanishk were adjudged Miss Orchids and Mr Orchids respectively. Our Principal Mrs Mona Mehdi addressed the batch and stated that the values and attitudes that are inculcated at school level are actually life-long values and principles. The students later danced to music and interacted with the other members of the staff.
It was altogether a fun-filled and totally satisfying afternoon for all the students. Though most felt emotional, everybody remained cheerful.
