Christmas is in the offing. It’s the time to rejoice and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Christmas celebrations in Orchids started with the colourful display boards with  bells, stars, candles, Christmas tree and all that go into the celebration of the festival. The depiction of the nativity scene, the enchanting decoration with golden drops, silver stars and the ever-green Christmas tree were of warmth and welcome in Orchids, ushering the Christmas season.

The choir enthralled everyone with sonorous Christmas carols during the one-hour special programme. The wondrous nativity play depicting the birth of Christ was the cynosure of the event. The benevolent Santa Claus arrived with all the much-awaited gifts to the delight of everyone. Principal of Orchids, Mrs. Mona Mehdi, reminded the message of Christmas -love, faith and peace, sharing and caring and universal brotherhood.
