VANAMAHOTSAV -29/7/2011

It was the week long celebration in the country (1st-7th July). It was the ‘Utsav’ time in Orchids-The International School. The month began with display boards getting ready with wonderful scenery and picturesque greenery, with plants and trees as cynosure, voicing slogans of afforestation. Each class planted a sapling and took an oath to participate in the conservation of environment.  Classes I-VIII presented innovative programmes to showcase and articulate the need for a continuous movement for a greener India and greener world.

ELECTIONS OF PREFECTS’ COUNCIL - 9/7/2011

All the students of the school had cast their votes for the Prefects’ Council in the morning session of the ninth of July.    After the counting of votes the names of the prefects elected were announced in the afternoon at 3pm on the same day. This was the first election ever held in the school and there was a lot of enthusiasm amongst the students.

One Minute Game (2/7/2011)

On 02 – 07- 2011 ‘One Minute Game’ was organized for the students of class X. They were shown the pictures of eight former prime ministers and were given the task of identifying them and writing down their names in one minute. The winners were:
